Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant or Emergency Room Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
Experience: At least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Additional Job Description
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
Licenses/Certificates: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must be current in the Nurse Aide Registry or have an Emergency Medical Tech Certification or equivalent. Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIHSS certification
