As a Resident Care Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Follows the resident’s service plan in providing services and care to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living:  bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene and mobility.
• Assists in preparing residents for meals, serving meals, bussing tables during mealtimes and cleaning the dining room. Assists in meal or snack preparation as deemed appropriate.
• Assists resident with personal laundry.
• Encourages and/or reminds residents to participate in activities of interest to them. Promotes activities enthusiastically to peak resident’s interest.
• Provides one-on-one support/visitation to residents.
• Responds to resident calls and emergencies; provides first-aid assistance and arranges for appropriate medical attention.

We are currently looking for Resident Care Assistants to join our team! To qualify you need a:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
• Must have excellent attendance
• Experience with dementia population preferred
