Job Responsibilities:
Diagnoses: Client has Alzheimer's dementia. He is placid and has mobility issues due to Rt leg weakness.
ADL's: Eating/drinking- Client needs meals prepared, but can feed himself independently. He needs to be offered drinks throughout the day to stay hydrated and will comply.
Mobility- Needs assistance on all transfers. Gait belt is available and sometimes useful especially in the afternoons.
Bathing/Showering- Needs stand by assitant.
Communication- He is clear and understandable in his speech.
Toileting- Client is able to tell caregiver when he needs to use the bathroom.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test
