Job Details

Responsibilities include:
1. Control and maintain all assembly, outline, part and prototype drawings, specification sheets, shipping test methods and decisions. This includes:
a. Receiving, stamping and filing the specification sheets and drawings
b. Decisions: distributing to the appropriate parties, updating and maintaining logs
c. Notification of drawings to the appropriate parties, obsoleting old copies and maintaining appropriate drawing logs
d. Maintaining a log of all the above specification sheets, shipping test methods and drawings
e. File, log and maintain signed-off specification sheets
f. Maintain controlled documents, which includes maintaining a log, filing, date stamp and emailing all appropriate parties according to email distribution group
2. Read, understand, and interpret engineering changes
3. Create, issue and complete change requests as required.
4. Update additional systems such as PDM/MAPICS/YGSM
5. Offer suggestions for continuous improvement of all systems related to this function.

Qualifications:
1. Computer skills to include: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
2. Ability to read engineering drawings.
3. Must be well organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
4. Must function as a member of a fast paced and dynamic team.
5. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Two to four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
