About the role:
As a Software Engineer you could work with leading edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About the team:

The FIS Securities Network connects institutional asset managers, hedge funds and broker-dealers to trading venues worldwide. The network supports multi-asset order routing in FIX and proprietary formats, trade execution, post-trade communication, analytics and reconciliation. FIS Securities Network also links to major third-party order-routing networks and delivers low-latency global market data.

What you will be doing:
• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

What you will need:
• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.

• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.

• Looking for 7+ years' experience with backend development.

• Work on coding, unit testing, integration testing and defects fixing.
• Strong experience in C#.

• Strong experience in ASP.NET.

• Strong in OOP concepts and multithreading.
• Strong SQL Skills (Microsoft SQL Server).

• A Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Bonus if you have

• Knowledge of: FIX Protocol, GIT, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, WebAPI, WCF

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $129,990.00 - $218,380.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
