Medical Secretary

Description:

• They see 50-60 patients per day
• Utilizing EPIC software to schedule patients for surgeries
• Answer phones
• Obtain pre-authorizations for insurance for patients before them come in for surgeries, appointments, check ups
• Calling Dr offices/hospitals for pre-op results
• Verifying insurance on a daily basis
• Must be very knowledgeable in insurance and the process
