Job Description
Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Vermont. This position offers a variable schedule with some evening shifts required. The typical work hours are on a 4x10 or 4x12 schedule, such as 8am-8pm.
Responsibilities:
As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the pharmacy department, ensuring pliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as pany policies. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Registering with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
- Maintaining the pharmacy in good standing with all regulatory requirements.
- Achieving pharmacy financial goals through budget management, payroll administration, third-party coordination, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Participating in business development activities in the store and munity.
- Managing pharmacy support personnel, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance reviews.
- Ensuring pletion of required training by all pharmacy associates.
- Participating in patient-centered services such as immunization, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counselling patients and medical providers on drug usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects, monitoring patient health and progress to optimize therapies.
- Maintaining patient safety through continuous quality improvement programs.
- Providing exemplary service within the pharmacist's scope of practice, using professional judgment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and department facilities.

- Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Active Vermont pharmacist license.
- Immunization certification is required.

- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations.
