Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and supply chain improvement projects, focusing on achieving optimal production outcomes and integrating design for manufacturability.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field)

• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with PCB manufacturing

• Experience in mechanical part and assembly design, including modifications to existing designs

• Proficient in the use of SAP or similar complex ERP systems

• Skilled in Solidworks or similar CAD software

Preferred Skills:

• Six Sigma certification

• Experience with ISO 9001

Job Responsibilities:

• Support or lead supply chain improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness

• Assist production teams in meeting on-time shipment and revenue goals

• Design, develop, test, and qualify product and production improvements, including tooling, fixtures, and documentation

• Work with cross-functional NPI teams from the conceptual phase through to volume production and end-of-life phases

• Lead the NPI team during the "Proof of Manufacturing and Production Ramp" phase to prepare new products for production, ensuring readiness of all production-related documents and tools

• Manage the creation and maintenance of BOMs, write ECOs, and create/edit work instructions and routings

• Test, troubleshoot, and improve assemblies and electrical circuits, and identify alternate components for electrical/electronic circuits

Pay: 42-47

Pay Details: $42.00 to $47.00 per hour
