Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Orting, WA area. We are conducting interviews to find qualified candidates who meet all local and state requirements. Please see detailed requirements below.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Provide support during assessments and evaluations.
