Volt is immediately hiring for a Field Support Product Manager in Brimfield, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity with our client who is the world’s leading manufacturer of specialty transport carriers—with machines operating worldwide in the metals/ material handling industry.

As a Field Support Product Manager you will be the single point of contact for the customer/dealer base and provide direct technical support as required to ensure customer satisfaction, machine availability, and product confidence. Within this role, you will:

  • Coordinate, manage and implement key customer site visits and meetings on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate and manage Customer and Dealer related enquiries and responses to product related issues with assistance of relevant internal Departments and resources.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both Customer and Dealer related enquiries for the Mining product while utilizing necessary internal Departments and resources to best deliver prompt, reliable responses to Customer and/or Dealer enquiries, concerns, or issues.
  • Collect and analyze field data and incorporate product improvements to new and existing Mining products.
  • Provide support to the Field Representatives during new Mining product commissioning and conduct follow-up meetings with internal Department heads.
  • Maintain and implement product improvement processes.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 2 or more years of experience working with heavy equipment (the mining industry preferred)
  • Understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Unigraphics/NX preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, occasionally on short notice

Salary: $83,000- $90,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
