School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Westville, OK. As a School Psychologist contracted through ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students within the school district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and individual needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans and strategies.
• Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development of students' educational plans.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Oklahoma state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
