Daily Responsibilities for Ophthalmic Assistant
- Flexible in work assignments and schedules, committed to delivering outstanding patient care
- Responsibilities include assisting in clinic operations, such as administering injections, minor procedures, chart documentation, and surgery preparation
- Proven experience in a fast-paced clinic environment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient records
Required Qualifications for Ophthalmic Assistant
- A high school graduate or GED
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or willingness to get certified
- 6+ months to a year of experience as a medical assistant or medical front office admin
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Preferred Qualifications for Ophthalmic Assistant
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Experience in MDI/ISP/NextTech EHR
- Patient Intake System, Phreesia
