Special education teacher- full time contract- Watts Mills, South Carolina

We are looking to hire a school special education teacher for a full time role near Watts Mills, South Carolina. There are two openings, both at the elementary grade level.

Start Date: July 26th, 2024

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Teaching license for the state of South Carolina
• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students both individually and in group settings
• Plan curriculum, special ed programs and teaching methods.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress in and outside of the classroom
• Evaluate student progress based on output and work output
• Determine and implement set goals, objectives and directives
