Job Description
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Beebe, AR. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have a range of disabilities and special needs, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support and instruction necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Provide direct instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and materials tailored to individual learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments and promote student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure academic growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, behavior, and services provided.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Stay informed of best practices and research-based interventions in the field of special education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
