Soliant is seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Supervisor to lead our Outpatient Infusion Services team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a vital role in ensuring the safe, pliant, and efficient operation of our pharmacy services. **Job Summary:**

The Pharmacy Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities in an assigned area, ensuring safe and productive workflows. This may include the direct supervision of pharmacy technologists, pharmacy learners, pharmacists, or support staff. You will utilize advanced munication and project management skills to lead quality and efficiency improvement efforts, ranging from independent work on small projects to leading teams on large-scale changes. The Pharmacy Supervisor will work closely with the pharmacy leadership team under the direction of the Director.

**Essential Job Functions:**

- Perform pharmaceutical care and drug distribution duties required of Clinical Staff Pharmacist and Senior Clinical Staff Pharmacist personnel.

- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operation of assigned pharmacy areas, including procurement, drug dispensing and delivery, pharmaceutical waste, 340B oversight, inventory and narcotic controls, record keeping, and maintenance of drug information reference materials.

- Supervise, manage, orient, train, maintain performance evaluation standards, and evaluate all assigned professional and supportive personnel.

- Hold staff accountable, address personnel issues proactively, and make remendations for promotions, merit increases, and disciplinary actions.

- Prepare personnel work schedules and ensure adequate staffing during absences.

- Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, and the final selection of qualified staff members.

- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.

- Identify opportunities to redesign systems of oversight to maximize performance (e.g., labor and operational efficiency).

- Develop business cases for operational services based on anticipated future needs, operational advancement, and organizational priorities.

- Participate in the department's strategic plan development and execution of assigned goals.

- Participate and/or lead quality improvement initiatives/projects.

- Prepare work measurement reports and make budget remendations to the Director and pharmacy leadership team.

- Identify appropriate internal controls for the department and provide mechanisms to monitor and enforce pliance.

- Serve as a preceptor and/or advisor for pharmacy learners.

- Rotate through the pharmacy on-call schedule.

- Perform related duties as required.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**

- Excellent verbal and written munication skills.

- Ability to function independently and manage multiple, simultaneous projects.

- Strong skills in prioritization, problem solving, team building, collaboration, conflict resolution, decision making, time management, and strategic planning.

- Ability to provide effective feedback and recognize personal strengths and weaknesses to develop professional growth and achievement goals.

- Ability to work in a plex team environment and collaborate with both external and internal professionals and customers.

- Demonstrated creativity and flexibility.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and operate in high-pressure situations.

**Required Education/Experience:**

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas

- Immunization Certification within six months of hire

- Three years of related experience

**Preferred Qualification/Experience:**

- Five years of related experience

- PGY1 or PGY2 Pharmacy Residency

**Working Environment:**

- Standard pharmacy environment.

- May be required to work weekends and shift rotations.

- May be required to work after hours or extended hours during emergencies.

- May be exposed to occupational hazards such as municable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, ionizing & non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications, and disoriented or bative patients.
