POSITION SUMMARY:
- Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Human Resources Manager and Plant Manager to facilitate the efficient operations of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee reception area/lobby, receive, and directs visitors and clients.
- Assist with purchasing functions: create purchase orders, receive purchase order, file purchasing paperwork.
- Assist with plant safety requirements including record keeping.
- Assist with time keeping functions, Paylocity edits and training hours;
- Maintain and distribute attendance, crewing and other HR related reports;
- Create, maintain and distribute reports regarding employee training;
- Maintain office equipment; coordinate repair of equipment;
- Keep track of office and plant supplies, consumable items, and send requisition to replenish supplies;
- Other office functions as directed by Human Resource or Plant Manager.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce all Safety Rules, GMP’s, and Company Code of Conduct rules;
- Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Knowledge of operations of standard office equipment;
- Knowledge of principles and practice of basic office management;
- HR related functions are sensitive and must be held in a confidential manner;
- Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- High School Diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
- Competent computer skills;
- Good administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in Human Resource and other office functions preferred.
EQUIPMENT USED:
- Personal computer, phone, calculator, copier, printer, laminator.
CONTACTS:
- Management and Supervisors, vendors, guests, employees.
SUPERVISION/BACKUP:
- Human Resource Manager.
