AP/AR Accountant

Job Title: AP/AR  Accounting

Location: Watertown, NY 13601

Pay Range: $29-$33.50 /hourly 

 

What’s the Job?

• Review and release debit memos created by purchasing. Mail debit memo’s to proper address for each vendor.
• Manage the weekly reports for 401K percentage changes and loan deductions. Make updates in payroll as required ensuring accurate updates.
• download the payroll reports into the appropriate payroll report folders on a weekly basis.
• Manage all payroll changes and updates for direct deposit, tax withholding, and garnishments and support orders.
• Process Canadian payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of data for all Canadian employees.

 

What’s Needed?

• Technical Capacity, Knowledge/understanding of accounting practices, Basic knowledge of AR and Payroll
• Accurate and timely in processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong ability to meet deadlines in time sensitive environment
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
