Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

Our client in Covington Ga, is seeking a material handler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good work attendance, ability to follow oral and written instructions and work well with others which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler 

Location: Covington Ga. 

Pay Range: 18.00

What’s the Job? Operating a Reach and Cherry Picker Forklift

• Processing customer orders, to include; scanning bar codes, labeling boxes, picking product, preparing packages for shipmen. 
• Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets and running shrink wrap 
• Transporting products pallets by material handling equipment
• Ensuring all assigned duties are completed in a timely manner according to department standards 
• Good oral and written communication skills 

What’s Needed? Ability to maintain a clean work environment

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, pull, push, squat and walk and stand for long period of time
• Ability to work in fast pace environment
• Ability to work well with others 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision 
• Ability to operate material handling equipment RF scanner. basic analytical skills, basic organizational skills, good prioritization skills, general computer skills, basic math skills and problem solving skills. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
