Warehouse Agent / Driver

Perform various warehouse activities, such as receiving, stocking, transporting, counting, inventorying, documenting and pulling materials as business need dictates. Responsible for enforce all safe warehouse procedures and practices. Will verify stock in inventory system and prep future outgoing stock.

Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

• To assist Installers get loaded and on the road
• Make sure warehouse and outside is kept in a clean conditions
• To call recycling company to get dumpsters switched our on a timely basis.
• To run parts/equipment to their designated point of origin (when warehouse driver is not in).
• Stages install jobs that are going out the next day.
• Create Purchase Orders for consumables and jobs.
• Order equipment and materials for install jobs
• Order materials for service and install truck stock
• Need to be able to order service parts for customers
• Do RMA’a for equipment/material coming back from job
• Receive shipments in from vendors and suppliers
• Maintain organization of warehouse by placing stock to appropriate areas
• Maintain warehouse inventory by documenting receipts in / shipments out accurately
• Safe operation of forklift and/or other warehouse equipment
• Pull / issue warehouse stock out to company trucks / job shipments
• Identifies incorrect shipments or missing items by comparing packing lists to the purchase order
• Prep / stage next-day outgoing shipments accurately
• Conducts spot counts of inventory to confirm stock on hand
• Orders truck stock inventory for daily needs
• Assists in preparation of return shipments to vendors
• Maintains good housekeeping and safe working conditions in warehouse
• Ensures safe warehouse operations with regard to material handling, storage and equipment use
• Ensures building security at beginning and end of each shift, notifying management of system issues, broken equipment, etc.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management

Requirements/Education:

• Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
• Detail-oriented in all facets of work
• Service orientation – actively looking for ways to help people
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and written & active listening skills
• Legible handwriting
• Ability to operate computer and input data with 98% accuracy or better
• Minimum two years experience in warehouse/stockroom operations
• Ability to work independently with little oversight and still meet deadlines
• Forklift operations, certification preferred
• Knowledge of safety and security measures which apply to a warehouse environment
• Background in HVAC industry and/or with HVAC materials preferred

Physical Demand:

• Pass drug and MVR screening
• Must be able to work in extreme weather and climate conditions ( year-round outdoor conditions, etc.);
• Must be able to stand, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel or climb repeatedly (up to 25 times an hour), or for long periods of time (four up to two hours);
• Sitting for extended periods of time;
• Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds unassisted, and lift above shoulder level;
• Must be able to work in tight, poorly lit and cramped conditions;
• Must be able to climb ladders and occasionally work at height;
• Must be able to execute all of the above functions and meet all of the above demands safely, posing no threat to themselves or those around them while doing so, and must willingly comply with applicable safety regulations in the completion of all work.
