Construction Site Transportation Driver

Location: Taylor, Texas

Doota Industrial America is seeking a Construction Site Transportation Driver to join our team in Taylor, Texas. As a subsidiary of Doota Industrial, a leading company in the telecommunications industry, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from various construction sites. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all materials and personnel are delivered safely and in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • CDL is preferred
  • Experience driving large vehicles such as trucks or construction equipment or school bus.
  • Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or other construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
  • Ensure that all transported goods are properly secured and loaded/unloaded safely.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to schedule deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Early start time: 6:30am

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
  • Good vision and hearing abilities to operate the vehicle safely.
