Project Specialist (Hybrid Role)

The LTF Project Specialist will assist with the planning, scheduling, and progress reporting of various corporate

projects.

Role Metrics:

• Project charters for LTF initiative created and managed.
• Master project matrix developed and maintained including scope, resources, timing, risks, and status.
• Updated and accurate project dashboard

• Responsible for working with the project manager in the creation and management of project charters including the definition of project scope and deliverables.
• Work with LTF Leadership to assign corporate priority designation to projects.
• Analyze and provide schedule and resource recommendations to the Project Manager to ensure that functional and department schedules are aligned with master project schedule based on LTF corporate priorities.
• Manage concurrent initiatives to balance resource availability while achieving corporate priorities.
• Facilitate meetings to review projects and present critical path items, including risk and major schedule interfaces and status.
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
• Work with responsible project manager to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives in a project charter.
• Ensure that projects are documented in the PLM system.
• Create and maintain a master project dashboard.
• Align resources and schedules based on LTF priority.
• Break projects into doable actions with set timeframes
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Analyze, communicate, and escalate risks to project timelines and share potential solutions.
• Report out on project progress, risks, and changes to priority, scope, resources, or timeline.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Consult with Project Managers to eliminate blockers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Capture project status notes/updates in PLM and other PM tools as required.

Background Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Project Specialist or similar role
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Team-management and leadership skills
• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
• This will be a hybrid role with a minimum on-site 3 days per week
