General Manager

Job Summary:

As the General Manager at Dairy Queen LG2 Restaurant Group in Hallsville, Texas, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This is a full-time, management role, and the compensation for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 per month, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing employees, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining food quality standards
- Hire, train, and schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to ensure profitability
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation regulations
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively
- Monitor sales and financial performance, and make adjustments as needed to increase profitability
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all employees
- Handle any HR-related tasks, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Maintain and update all necessary records and documentation

Requirements:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in a management role in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
- Basic understanding of financial management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
