Job Summary
Part-time
Medical Receptionist for an outpatient psychiatry practice.
18-20 hours/week
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:50 am to 5:30 pm
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Communicate with and schedule new patients
- Communicate with medical providers and patients regarding prescription refills
- Fax and scan documents
- Help with billing and insurance tasks
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior customer service or reception experience preferred
- Some college education preferred
- Medical and HIPPA training helpful
- Communication and organizational skills are necessary
- Attention to detail necessary
- Ability to multi-task necessary
