RV Body Fabricator Installer

With considerable growth in the industry, PleasureLand RV is adding to our team of industry trained technicians! We are currently on the lookout for a Body Shop RV Fabricator who will specialize in fabricating and repairing all types of RV’s. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our customers' RVs by performing a variety of repair procedures on multiple areas of the vehicle.

Body Shop RV Fabricator Essential Job Functions:

The body shop technician must possess a clear understanding on the procedures to repair multiple areas on an RV. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Fiberglass work
• Metal structural repairs
• Cabinetry installation
• Wood work
• Roof replacements

Other essential functions of the job are:

• Complete trailer axle and brake work on scheduled customer and inventoried units.
• Utilize repair products to their proper specifications to meet manufacturer's standards and ensure the longevity and durability of repairs.
• Work with our team of Service Advisors to understand customers concerns and properly diagnose the issues.
• Produce accurate and itemized work estimates and job details to Service Advisor.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity in the repair process.
• Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Fabricator Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in body shop repair, particularly in the automotive or RV industry.
• Experience in welding and 12V electrical is preferred.
• Proficiency in fiberglass repair, metal structural repairs, cabinetry installation, woodwork, roof replacements, and other relevant repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that exceeds customer expectations.
• Ability to interpret repair manuals, technical specifications, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with customers and colleagues.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• This position will be working in a shop environment.
• Must physically be able to lift 50+ pounds occasionally, 10-20lbs throughout the day.
