Caregiver/HHA

Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/HHA to join our team in providing exceptional care to our clients in the Frankfort/Lawrenceburg, Kentucky area. This is a part-time hourly, non-medical position where the caregiver will serve as an individual contributor, delivering high-quality care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.50 to $16 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, we offer flexible schedules to meet your needs. We also provide supplemental insurance, vision and dental.

We provide paid training and CPR classes!

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in a professional and compassionate manner, promoting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being
• Assist with all activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing and assisting with mobility
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishes, and sweeping
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for clients when necessary
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided and any changes in client’s condition
• Communicate effectively with directors and family members to ensure consistent and efficient care
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and stay current on best practices for caregiving

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle for transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
