Position: Catering Sales & Community Coordinator

Desired Experience: Entry - mid level

Hourly Compensation: $13 - $15 per hour based upon experience

Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday from 10:00am – 3:00pm CST

Reports to: Catering & Marketing Director

Catering Sales & Community Coordinator’s role: In this role, you would be a part of our Leadership Team. As a member of that team, you would help to execute the company’s brand strategy, vision, mission & values. These actions & efforts result in a great customer experience, maximized sales and continued growth opportunities for our employees. By recognizing the importance of our team members, we can strengthen our efforts to achieve our goals together. Overall Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Input all details for catering orders & events into appropriate software and filing systems (you will be trained on these systems and processes).
  • Coordinate timelines, the customer’s order needs, store assignment, driver ability, and additional details as needed.
  • Coordinate details & scheduled catering orders with store managers, district manager and appropriate leadership team members to ensure clear & concise communication and execution throughout all involved levels.
  • Ensure top quality sales, customer service and outreach efforts.
  • Targeted outreach to the areas we serve to build a strong potential client base while maintaining relationships with current customers via phone call, email, in-person etc.
  • Keep the Catering Systems organized & up-to-date as we progress throughout each year.
  • Create gift baskets, coupons, and other auction-able items for community events when necessary.
  • Participates in word-of-mouth advertising and promoting Qdoba at community events.
  • Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Email & Excel basics.
  • Comfortable with Google Drive & tech related practices.
  • Comfortable & confident when speaking to customers over the phone/email.
  • Comfortable with cold calling & emailing.
  • Willingness to learn & complete position training.
  • Detail oriented & able to complete tasks diligently and on time.
  • Reliable, responsible and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Positive & professional attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.

  • Previous experience in food service or sales/outreach related fields.
  • Experience using Monkey Media Solutions for catering services.
