$150,000 - $325,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate
  • Identify oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, restoration, root canals, and surgical extractions
  • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans
  • Examine the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to spot signs of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health
  • Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated
  • Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct routine dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, fluoride treatment, and other diagnostic and preventative procedures
  • Perform cosmetic dental procedures, including veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays, and dentures
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and integrate them into practice
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications:
  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/ DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required
  • A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required
  • State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications are required
  • Familiarity with computers
  • Advanced knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is helpful
  • Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry
  • Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills
