Job Description

We are seeking a Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant, interested in working with a care model that delivers exceptional results in post-acute and long-term care at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position will serve the Nags Head, NC. New Grads are Welcome!

Responsibilities:

Start date: ASAP

  • Six (6) month contract with an option to convert to permanent
  • Full-Time contract; 40hrs/week (8-4 or 9-5)
  • Pay: $70-$75 Hourly (Housing and Trans. Included if out of town so hourly is 85-90)
  • Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients
  • Communicate with nursing staff and collaborating physicians or specialist regarding patient care
  • ADC 25-28 patients/day
  • EMR: Gehrimed; Facility uses Point Click Care; training provided
  • Ability to document on site, laptop provided; document within 24-48hrs max.

Qualifications:

  • FNP; current CMEs 
  • Active/clear NC NP or PA License
  • An unencumbered DEA license required
  • Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
  • Ability to chart daily visits in an EMR in a timely manner
  • Clean Background for expedited credentialing
  • Positive attitude and customer service oriented
  • Must have full vaccination for COVID19
