- Operating flatbed trucks to manage distribution and deliveries of goods and services from the warehouse to various assigned designations.
- Ensuring that cargo is secured properly with straps and other devices to prevent shifting during transport.
- Providing good customer assistance is important.
- Communicating with dispatchers regarding load locations and delivery times delayed etc.
- Performing pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure that all safety and maintenance requirements are met.
- Tying down the loads to ensure stability and secure the cargo.
- Transport Hazmat Material in the most safe and secure way for each load.
- Have the ability to operate a forklift safely.
