Logistics Assistant

Title: Logistics Assistant

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm, with occasional Fridays. No weekends. Closed on Major Holidays.

Compensation: Starting at $14/hr, with additional hours available and opportunity for quarterly bonuses. Bi-weekly Direct Deposit.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, focusing on safety compliance, performance improvement, efficiency enhancement, implementation of best practices, and logistics coordination.

Warehouse Duties:
- Ensure safety compliance by conducting regular checks on fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and walkways.
- Maintain clear walkways and unobstructed electrical panels in warehouse.
- Organize warehouse inventory and furniture repair, in coordination with Logistic Manager's guidance.
- Manage warehouse supplies and maintain inventory control system.
- Support staging and de-staging activities with the Logistic Manager.
- Loading, unloading, and transportation of inventory to and from stages, ensuring proper furniture and art protection.
- Assist in packing accessories during de-staging and ensure proper handling of furniture and art.

Operations Support:
- Maintain online inventory system.
- Prepare for warehouse sales events in collaboration with Managers.

Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
- Must have ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities.
