General Manager

At Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers in Midlothian,VA, the general manager is involved with the overall operational functions of the restaurant. Customer satisfaction while adhering to brand standards in cooking, preparation, training, food safety, and reporting. The ability to use available tools to report on sales and costs to help plan a profitable operation. Creation of a weekly managers schedule and assisting in creation of both FOH and BOH schedules. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, hiring, coaching and motivating employees while providing a safe and welcoming work environment. Salary starting at $60,000 and up based upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations and ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Manage financial reports and maintain a profitable business through the use of P&L statements
• Source, hire and continually develop team members with training and coaching
• Understand and enforce current HR laws and best practices
• Grow sales using different tactics and strategies
• Manage and promote the brand
• Schedule routine or emergency maintenance

• Job Requirements
• At least 2 years experience at GM level with demonstrated ability in correcting issues directly impacting store sales and performance.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be Servsafe certified.
• Be able to work a flexible five day work week.
