JOB BRIEF: 

 

TSL is a fast growing, tequila cocktail category disruptor looking for a B2B sales person. TSL is an all natural tequila canned cocktail brand that launched in the summer of 2023 with two SKU’s: TSL [Tequila Soda Lime] and Rosarita [TSL x Rosé] - don’t worry it's awesome. We are a small but mighty team that is passionate about what’s in our can - a better, cleaner, high quality premium tequila cocktail…that looks as good as it takes. 


In order to compete with large corporate-backed cans - we need smart, strategic, entrepreneur minded sellers to 1) grow our retail footprint and 2) to support existing partners in a Brand Ambassador capacity, leading tastings to drive increased awareness and sales.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

You will be on the ground driving between stores in a specific region, tasked with growing our customer base. The role is critical to the sustained AND scaled success of TSL and we’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to grow a sales region to promote sales, awareness, and reorders. 

 

  • Prospecting: Leverage pre-built lead lists and visit each location in person to present the “TSL Story”  

  • Presentation: Learn TSL Story and value proposition to effectively pitch TSL as the best, new, all natural tequila canned cocktail on the market. 

  • Tastings: Conduct engaging sales presentations and product tastings tailored to the needs / preferences of each retailer and their customer needs. 

  • Relationship building:  Love people, making connections, and delivering white glove customer service. Cultivate strong relationships with retail buyers & decision makers through regular communication, product education, and exceptional service. 

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems to track progress, forecast sales, and communicate with team leadership.

 

Other responsibilities:

  • Customize and deliver TSL business plan and value proposition confidently to new business opportunities and decision makers

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers 

  • Maintain a customer relationship map and identity an ongoing outreach process that keeps key customers in the know of business updates and opportunities to drive sales

  • Attend and contribute to key pitch meetings and sales calls

  • Drive same store and net new revenue measured by case volume and new store acquisition Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

 

COMPENSATION PLAN [NEW SALES] - Hourly + Commission - the more you sell, the more you make!

  • Hourly: $20/hr

  • Commitment: 20 hr/month estimate

  • Commission: 5% of each sale [4 case minimum to unlock commission]

 

COMPENSATION PLAN [TASTINGS] - Flat rate per tasting 

  • $150 per tasting (generally 2-3 hrs + travel time to/from location)

  • Commitment: 2-4 per month

  • $0.67 / mile

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Valid US driver’s license

  • Willing to sign a 1099 

  • Over 21

  • 2-4 years of sales or brand ambassador experience
