Richardson Ag supports farmers throughout the growing season – providing agronomic services and advice, selling agronomic products, buying their crops at harvest and selling them to markets domestically and around the world through an efficient network of high throughput agricultural business centers. Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have opportunities for Agribusiness Summer Students at Richardson Ag locations in North Dakota. Summer Students are responsible for providing support to our teams at Richardson Ag and for supporting the efficient and profitable operation of our locations. Responsibilities:Assist with agronomy retail activities (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products)Scout crops for weeds, disease and insectsSoil & tissue testingAssist with the purchase, storage and shipping of grainOperate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerProvide excellent customer service to our farm customers Qualifications:Strong interest and knowledge of AgricultureHighly self-motivated, organized and detail orientedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStudents or graduates of an Agriculture degree or diploma program focusing on Agronomy, Plant Science or Soil ScienceAgriculture background is considered an asset but not required Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary and training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the Apply to this Position icon to apply online by April 30, 2024. Richardson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
