Job Description:

As a Lead, Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in design, development, implementation, testing and training of/for command and control systems for our warfighters.  This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together.  We have a long history of innovative and exceptional performance; we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers.

In this position, you will be working on a team directly supporting the portfolio Chief Engineer developing, designing, and conducting research projects in support of modernization of Optical and Radar systems on the contract.  You will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!

Essential Functions:

  • Support modernization of Optical and Radar systems
  • Develop, design, and conduct research projects in support of modernization of Optical and Radar systems
  • Efficiently manage tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Lead small teams independently to solutions within scope and allocated budget
  • Support projects within varying programs supporting Radars, Optical systems, and Command and Control systems
  • Understanding of Networks, Hardware, Software, and the SDA mission space
  • Work side by side with software developers and navigate through software code to create MBSE models, develop requirements and architecture artifacts.
  • Present to senior level management and the customer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • MBSE experience
  • Experience with Networks, Hardware, Software, and the SDA mission space
  • Experience with Optical and Radar systems

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $106,500.00 - $197,500.00 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
