The Position: We’re looking for a Relief Driver. This is a full-time position that works Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated person who has a great personality who enjoys Driving to act as a route driver for our operations department. Delivers hard goods and cylinders and other supplies to branch locations, customers, and vendors/suppliers on a scheduled route or intermittently.

  • Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers providing information on ordering and delivery times, etc.
  • Safely load, unload, and deliver hardgood orders and cylinders containing compressed gases; return empty cylinders for refilling.
  • Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
  • Performs routine maintenance on truck and keeps truck clean in accordance with company policy and lessor requirements.
  • Sort incoming cylinder loads by product type and cylinder size.
  • Assist in building loads for outgoing inter store branch deliveries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience
  • Class A driver’s license
  • Willingness to obtain Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements
