Position summary

As a Maintenance Associate, you will be part of a team that supports the manufacturing and distribution of cable and elevator products. This position reports directly to the maintenance supervisor. We want to make sure you are set up to be successful, therefore we provide you with a toolbox and tools need for the job.

Responsibilities
  • Complete Preventative Maintenance on company assets and equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to ensure it's operational.
  • Contribute to the Preventative Maintenance program by making suggestions to current maintenance plans, such as changing activities or frequency.
  • Assist in project work when needed.
  • Use SAP to enter in all work completed and parts used.
  • Install new equipment, including electrical wiring.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Two year associate degree or higher in a mechanical, electrical, or other maintenance related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with certifications or licenses in related mechanical, electrical, or maintenance disciplines is required.
  • Working knowledge of electrical controls: PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, etc.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems including: power and control wiring, AC and DC motors, and electrical components.
  • Applicant must have a valid driver's license from a state within the US.
  • Working knowledge of industrial equipment and systems: HVAC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, etc.
  • Ability read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Experience using the following: multimeter, amp probe, megohmmeter, calibration equipment, lathe, milling machine, drill press, plasma cutter, band saw, forklift, pipe bending equipment, pipe cutter/threader, grinder, cut off saw, metal shears, welding equipment, small power and hand tools, micrometers, depth gauges, dial and digital calipers, and computers.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment is preferred.
