Engineering Technician (ENTRY LEVEL)

Fairfield County, Connecticut

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to work for one of the top semiconductor companies in the world! Open to entry level and experience candidates!

Qualifications;
-Degree not required, willing to consider manufacturing/technical experience.
- Manufacturing Internship or Co-Op experience
- Experience assembling in a manufacturing company
- Ability to read blueprints
Work Environment:
Cleanroom environment
Shifts available: Pay starts at $24/hr
  • 1st Shift 6:00am to 2:30pm, Mon-Fri
  • 2nd Shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Mon-Fri + 10% shift differential
  • CWW Nights N2 6PM to 6AM , Sunday- Wednesday + 15% shift differential
  • CWW Days D2 6am to 6pm, , Sunday- Wednesday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment.
  • Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives and quality improvements.
  • Quality: Produce products in accordance with established specifications.
  • New Products: Actively contribute to the pilot production process and the transition to volume production. Be responsible for the development and improvement of TPD, processes and records and other relevant topics.
  • Skills: Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes, modifications, sub-modules and complete systems. Have an in-depth knowledge of the correlation between the module and the whole system and the relationship with other (sub) systems. Pass on relevant expertise.
  • Teamwork: Support good teamwork by the search for solutions and ideas arising from input and the implementation of departmental tasks.
  • Planning: Coordinate the activities given in the production plan and monitor the practical situation. Closely control the use of tools, materials and equipment.
