Exciting PCB Design Opportunity Supporting Critical Military Platforms!!
Job Description:
Day to day:
This PCB Designer will primarily be designing boards working with an assigned EE for whatever the boards function is.
MUST HAVES:
- Altium Experience (Design tool)
- RF knowledge/understanding of principals
- Ability to commute onsite + learn from colleagues
* Aerospace & Defense industry experience is a plus
Job Skills:
Altium, Design, CREO, Solidworks, Board design, printed circuit board, ECAD, RF/RF design
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in a technical field
• 5 years of experience as a Designer
• 3 years experience with Altium and AutoCAD
• 5 years of experience working knowledge of IPC-2221 specifications for design and manufacturability of PCB
• 5 years of working knowledge of ASME Y-14 Drawing and Dimensioning Standards. Specifically ASME Y 14.100 Engineering Drawing practices and ASME Y-14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Creative Thinking, Basic Engineering principles, design practices and manufacturing methods/procedures
• Knowledge/Experience working in the defense industry
• Active DOD clearance preferred
