Title: Mechanical Drafter
Location: Wichita, KS
Description:
• Create 3D drawings using Solidworks.
• Experience in a machine shop environment working with machined parts.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Maintain design equipment and software.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Assist the design team in development of custom machines.
• Identify problems and implement solutions for production support.
• Ensure client satisfaction with design of machine and project execution
• Team player providing support to the manufacturing floor and production
• Aptitude to learn and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support the organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency with SolidWorks software is a must.
• Experience with Bill of Materials
• ERP system knowledge
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting/Design or Mechanical Engineering.
• Two plus years related experience.
