Description:

Responsibilities: -This person will be responsible for electro-mechanical validation and verification of ink jet printer components. -They will Assemble and test electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and sub-assemblies -This person will spend some time Testing custom software and inks for special application printers, but the majority will be validation and verification of new products in the R&D Lab. -They will collect and reports in experimental data, most of this will be manual but may use the computer. -Support projects from start to finish, meet all schedules and deadlines. -Support Field Engineers on customer site for field trials of new product evaluations. MUST: -5+ years experience in an electro-mechanical based setting -Experience working with Engineering/R&D -Experience with prototype build and testing of equipment -Experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, etc.. -Ability to utilize hand tools such as; drill, electric screw driver, oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc.. -Experience documenting data in Excel PLUS: -Ability to read and interpret BluePrints and schematics -Soldering experience -Fluids background (valves, pumps, solenoids, filters, etc..)
