We're currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technicians to bolster our 2nd Shift team at Hood Container Corporation - Lebanon. The 2nd Shift hours are from 2:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We pride ourselves on providing an environment where employee well-being is paramount and operational excellence is the norm.

About the Role:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining various corrugated converting machines, including Flexo Folder Gluers, Rotary Die Cutters, Flat Bed Die Cutters, Specialty Folder Gluers, and Litho Laminators. These machines are pivotal in transforming corrugated board into boxes and intricate retail displays. Here's what you'll contribute:

• Collaborating with a team to ensure optimal functioning of our machinery.
• Demonstrating a team-oriented approach, keen organization, attention to detail, and physical capability to perform assigned tasks.
• Adhering to machine maintenance safety protocols.
  

What we're looking for:

• Proficiency in basic electrical work, including repair and replacement of damaged power cords, plugs, receptacles, electrical contacts, breakers, and fuses.
• Experience with machine breakdown calls and hydraulic system maintenance.
• Familiarity with using power tools for various projects within the plant.
• Willingness to learn and train in MIG welding, aluminum welding with spool gun, and other relevant skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues through visual inspection and testing.
• Initiative to maintain and repair the physical structure of the establishment, including wooden structures, electrical apparatus, and pipe systems.
• Competence in operating machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines for repair or fabrication purposes.
• Proficiency in operating cutting torches or welding equipment for metal cutting or joining tasks.
• Dedication to completing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
