Job Description:Provides Child Life services to pediatric inpatients and outpatients, alleviating the potentially deleterious emotional effects associated with hospitalization and medical treatment.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Child Life Services Required or
Bachelor's Degree Child Development Required or
Bachelor's Degree Related Field - Behavioral Sciences Required or
Bachelor's Degree Related Field - Human Development Required
Master's Degree Preferred
Experience:
3 years Direct Interaction with Children in a health, educational or treatment setting Required
Certifications/Licensures:
CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist - Current Required
BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification Required
Eligible for a Sign-on Bonus of up to $2,500.00
Work Shift:08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
