Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year in Orting, WA. If you are passionate about supporting students' communication development and enhancing their overall educational experience, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students
• Assist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
• Implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' communication goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Washington State Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
