Job Title: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Location: Swainsboro, Georgia

Job Type: Part-time, 2/3 days/week - Tuesdays and Thursdays

Description: A school in Jackson, Mississipi is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Swainsboro, Georgia. As an SLP, you will work with two elementary schools - 1 per day - of who have speech, language, & cognitive disorders. You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients enhance their development and communication.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, establishing specific goals for each client
Deliver therapy and interventions to address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care
Maintain detailed and up-to-date client progress documentation and treatment plans
Educate and involve clients and their families in therapy and treatment planning
Stay informed about research and advancements in speech-language pathology through attendance at conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs
Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Valid Mississippi state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Mississippi (requirements include completion of a clinical fellowship and passing the national Praxis examination)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
