Currently searching for an Overnight Maintenance Mechanic in Bloomfield, NY to support production equipment. This is a direct-hire permanent position.
Competitive pay: $22-$25/hour
Shift differential: additional $1/hour
Shift: 7pm-7am Wednesday through Friday and alternating Saturdays

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Perform inspections and repairs production equipment such as air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, pumps, gearboxes, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, as well as utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Assist with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repairs of building, equipment and installed systems to include: extrusion, thermoforming, printing machinery, grinders, blowers, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as; Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned.
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, paint walls, piping, floors and equipment
What You Need to Be Successful:
- 3 or more years of mechanical or maintenance experience
- Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
- Mechanical aptitude
