Warehouse/Material Handler

Located in Littleton, CO

Salary: $18-$22/hr BOE

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse/Material Handler to join our team. The Warehouse/Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and products within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming shipments of materials, parts, and products, verifying contents against shipping documents and purchase orders.
2. Unload delivery trucks using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as needed.
3. Inspect and properly store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
4. Retrieve and prepare materials for outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items according to shipping requirements.
5. Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items for transport.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse storage areas, including shelving units, aisles, and workspaces.
7. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and database records.
8. Assist with cycle counting, inventory audits, and other inventory control activities as directed.
9. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
10. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily operational goals.
11. Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance job skills and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
3. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification may be required).
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording inventory.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
8. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
9. Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [X] pounds) on a regular basis.
10. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

1. Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment, with exposure to various weather conditions.
2. May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
3. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and ear protection may be required.
