Job Summary:
• Prepare the Tallapoosa site for the SAP S4 HANA go-live by coordinating all IT project
deployment-related activities.
• Serve as the primary IT contact for onsite stakeholders, addressing their project
deployment concerns and inquiries.
• Conduct site surveys, gather equipment requirements (access points, servers, printers,
scanners), and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with site business users to test and verify equipment and process functionality.
• Monitor the setup of material flow systems at the plant site (AGVs, conveyors, sensors),
providing insights for integration with the SAP Implementation team.
• Continuously analyze and validate site preparation, systems integration, and business
readiness.
• Actively participate in project meetings, providing regular reports and updates.
• Conduct status reviews and discussions to track progress and address requirements and
concerns.
• Stay current with relevant technology through necessary training to lead from the front.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Ability to communicate
effectively with business customers as well as IT leadership.
• Excellent analytical skills to develop concepts and facilitate decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team management and facilitation experience
• Experience in managing IT infrastructure tasks for a manufacturing/ automotive industry.
• Business acumen- keeping up to date with technology evolution and Industry trends.
• Experience in working with truly global teams is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information
Systems, or related field.
Experience:
• 2 plus years of experience working on IT projects in close coordination with business
customers in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in working with SAP implementations is highly desirable.
• SAP S/4 HANA experience is preferred.
• Experience working with an IT incident management system (ex. ServiceNow)
Working Conditions
• Local and/or international travel will be required as needed (25%), including some
extended stays on location for education or deployments. Must have a valid driver’s
license and Passport.
• Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The ability to lift 30-50 lbs. without
assistance.
• Team members may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-and
dust.
• Team Member may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch
for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements
(OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
• Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no
restrictions.
• Effectively communicate in Business English language.
