As a Senior Infusion Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Location: This is an on-site position located at our 4610 NORTHGATE BLVD STE 130, SACRAMENTO, CA 95834
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm PST with occasional overtime based on business needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contact patients daily to review therapy progress, review supplies on-hand, and schedule deliveries of medication & supplies accurately and timely to ensure patients’ needs are met
- Process refill prescriptions & medication supply requests
- Resolve customer issues
- Assist in other pharmacy areas as needed
This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Lift up to 25 – 35 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
- Home Infusion experience
- Sterile Compounding experience
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
