Job Description
As a Body Shop Estimator at Ozark Chevrolet, you will play a crucial role in estimating the cost of repairs for vehicle damages and providing accurate and timely estimates to customers. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry, based in Ozark, Missouri. The role requires a high level of technical skills and customer service in order to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is hourly and paid semi-monthly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer benefits such as healthcare, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and a 401k plan.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and provide accurate and detailed estimates for repairs
- Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and other departments within the dealership regarding estimates and repairs
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Monitor and update repair status and timelines for each vehicle
- Work closely with the technicians to ensure repairs are completed within estimated timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a body shop estimator in the auto industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and estimating software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
