Job Description

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the therapists and coaches in the implementation of student’s Tx plans as well as handling a caseload and running groups. The Clinical Director is also responsible to ensure Forte Strong is in compliance with all laws, license requirements and other accreditation bodies. The Clinical Director collaborates with the Program Director, Therapists, Operations Director and the Executive Director to ensure a proper development and consistency in quality of treatment provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

Above and beyond regular responsibilities the Clinical Director will:

  • Work with the therapists to ensure their continued professional development and growth
  • The Clinical Director will provide direction to the therapists to ensure high quality clinical standards are maintained,
  • Provide written performance evaluations for program therapists.
  • Coordinate with the Program Director to ensure clinical training for both therapists and coaches are consistent and effective.
  • Engage in regular clinical quality control activities; audit clinical charts and Tx notes monthly, attend individual therapy & group therapy sessions & coach sessions etc.
  • Set aside time to meet with the Program Director as needed/requested
  • Attend Director Meetings when invited and as available
  • Conduct daily staff meeting and weekly Tx Team meetings
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the therapist and staff clinical training
  • Oversee communication with insurance/billing partners to ensure claims are properly submitted, conduct UR’s or Peer Reviews as necessary. 


Qualifications

  • Must hold a current license as a clinician
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working with a variety of therapeutic treatment programs/environments.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pass a background test
  • Must not have any drug related charges
  • Must not have sexual misconduct charges
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Must obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must review Provider Code of Conduct
  • Must have an active drivers license and reliable transportation
